Qualification

American Sign Language (ASL)RID Interpreter LicensureHealth care interpreting experienceCommunication skillsInterpersonal skills

Required

Associate's degree required
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
RID - Interpreter for the Deaf Licensure and adherence to tenets within the RID Interpreter Code of Professional Conduct upon hire required

Preferred

Experience interpreting in a health care setting preferred
Board for Evaluation of Interpreters (BEI) or similar National Certification upon hire preferred
