Responsibilities
Program Development: Create and execute comprehensive property insurance programs that address market demands and align with company goals, covering CAT strategies, reinsurance structures, portfolio pricing, and overall risk appetite
Underwriting Oversight: Work with partners to set pricing strategies and risk assessment standards for both program portfolios and individual risk referrals
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all programs meet state and federal regulations, staying informed on industry standards
Performance Monitoring: Track program performance metrics, produce management reports, and recommend adjustments to enhance profitability as needed
Client Relations: Develop and sustain strong relationships with producers, reinsurers, and other stakeholders to support their needs and improve customer satisfaction
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years in property program management or a related role
In-depth knowledge of property insurance products, CAT management, underwriting principles, and claims processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
Proven leadership and experience managing cross-functional teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members
Preferred
Professional designations (e.g., CPCU, ARM) are a plus
