Industrial Engineer (Onsite)

Responsibilities

Industrial Engineers apply advanced problem-solving techniques and Lean Manufacturing principles to develop and optimize factories to maximize throughput, efficiency, and value
Analyze manufacturing system performance to identify undesirable effects and opportunities for improvement
Calculate resource utilization and identify throughput constraints
Apply Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles to eliminate constraints, improve efficiency, and meet or exceed cost, quality, and on-time delivery goals
Create process flows, value stream maps, pareto charts, spaghetti diagrams, and CAD drawings to graphically show manufacturing processes, the movement of material, the exchange of information, and key metrics
Contribute to strategic roadmaps focused on factory expansion, manufacturing technology insertion, infrastructure improvements, obsolescence mitigation, and the integration of new capabilities
Own Gated Metrics centered around Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People
Develop dashboards, aids, and tier boards to support Gate management and tiered escalation practices
Participate in factory safety and ergonomic improvements

Required

Typically requires Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 2 years of applicable industrial engineering experience or applicable master's degree

Experience with simulation modeling and capacity analysis
Experience with factory layout and work cell design /optimization
Experience with project management
Experience with CAD software
Six Sigma principles
Lean manufacturing principles
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
