The University of Missouri Athletics Department is seeking an Athletics Business Operations Associate. This role involves financial management, communication with staff, support services, research and reporting, and process improvement to enhance operations within the department.

Responsibilities

Reviewing, auditing, and processing various financial documents, including OneCard expense reports and reimbursement transactions

Preparing requisitions and non-purchase order vouchers

Completing receiving for payment

Preparing journal entries for transfers and expense corrections

Monitoring transactions to ensure charges are accurately posted to the correct accounts

Assisting with bids and proposals for contract agreements

Regularly communicating with coaches and staff to educate them on proper documentation for business transactions

Assisting with loading Commerce prepaid expense cards for staff and student-athletes

Compiling and analyzing financial and operational data in Excel using formulas, pivot tables, and charts to create clear, actionable reports for decision-makers

Conducting research projects

Identifying and recommending ways to streamline operations

Fostering a team-oriented environment through open, respectful communication and a commitment to collaborative problem solving

Demonstrating an eagerness to learn new systems, tools, and processes to continuously improve skills and support evolving development needs

Required

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred

Prior experience in Athletics or Business Operations is preferred
