This pivotal executive leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, streamlining processes, and ensuring a high level of service delivery from loan submission through closing.

Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of Processing, Underwriting Coordination, Disclosures, Closing, and Post-Closing departments
Ensure operational alignment with full correspondent lending processes and investor requirements
Collaborate closely with Sales Leadership to ensure a seamless transition from origination to operations, delivering exceptional service to clients and partners
Develop, implement, and continuously refine operational workflows, policies, and procedures
Monitor pipeline performance, turn-times, and key operational metrics, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks
Mentor and develop department leads and team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and investor compliance requirements across all operational functions
Partner with Executive Leadership to align operational strategies with company growth goals
Manage relationships with key vendors, including LOS providers (Encompass), AMC partners, and compliance resources
Lead process automation initiatives and technology implementations to enhance operational efficiency and scalability
Qualification
Required
5+ years of mortgage operations leadership experience at the VP level or higher is required
Hands-on experience with Encompass LOS is mandatory
Strong background in full correspondent lending operations
Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional mortgage operations teams
Strong knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM loan products
Deep understanding of mortgage compliance regulations and agency guidelines
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proactive mindset
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
