Assistant Facilities Manager
LAZ Parking is a company focused on employee-centered leadership, seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to oversee operations and support their teams. The role involves managing on-site employees, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring professional parking management at assigned locations.

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and fix equipment within the operation; obtained a basic level of IT troubleshooting
Work with and schedule vendors to help with any issues within the operation
Manage, plan, schedule, train, and direct the activities of on-site employees
Identifying high-potential employees to support the organization’s continued growth
Organize and narrate parking management skills for Supervisors and Team Leads
Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from operating assigned location(s)
Communicate with the local police department and emergency management teams regarding operations
Help assist with our event operations within LAZ Parking
Implementation and completion of other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from assigned location(s)
Display superior customer service and train others to engage with customers appropriately
Additional related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
2+ years in a Supervisory role
Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and General Microsoft Office Applications
Ability to seek improvement and create an environment of idea-sharing and creative problem-solving
Strong customer service skills and abilities
Ability to be approachable and facilitate coaching conversations with employees and managers
Ability to mitigate and lead others to overcome challenges (Never Ever Give Up Attitude)
Ability to encourage open expression of ideas and opinions
Excellent team building and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and multi-task
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization
Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness
Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc
Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 25 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift
This position requires the use of a personal vehicle
