District Sales Manager - Michigan East (Metro Detroit Area)

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, including primary care physicians, endocrinologists, and clinical staff
Educate providers and clinic staff on diabetes products, insurance documentation requirements, and benefits
Travel to potential and existing customers to present company offerings and build brand awareness
Conduct in-person and virtual sales calls, presentations, and product demonstrations
Collaborate with inside sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless referral processing
Stay informed on insurance guidelines and reimbursement policies for Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers
Track sales activity using CRM tools and maintain an organized sales pipeline
Participate in ride-alongs and shadowing opportunities with the outside sales team
Attend local events to expand brand awareness and business opportunities
Provide exceptional follow-up support to clinics and referral sources
Adapt to evolving business needs, including additional duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Willingness to work evenings and weekends, as required

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business management, or a related field
Knowledge of DME, diabetes care products, or insurance documentation
Experience in diabetes care or medical equipment sales
