New Grad, Entry LevelTogetherhood is building a vibrant marketplace for educators and communities. They are seeking passionate instructors to teach K-12 students across New York, creating engaging and age-appropriate curriculums while fostering a love for learning in children.
Responsibilities
Conceive of and create an age-appropriate curriculum for your class
Create memorable experience for the children in your class to help them grow and develop a passion for your area of expertise
Consistently arrive at your class on time (or early!), prepared with the lesson plan for the day
Help children understand why the subject of the class is so wonderful and how it's helped shape you as a person
Qualification
Required
Experience teaching school age children
Ability to conceive of and create an age-appropriate curriculum
Ability to create memorable experiences for children
Consistent punctuality and preparedness for class
Ability to help children understand the value of the subject being taught
Excitement, joy, and passion for teaching kids and personal development/learning
Ability to create a fun, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
Ability to bring personal voice and creativity to each class
Cooperative, supportive, and flexible attitude
Dependable, proactive, and able to thrive with autonomy while appreciating support and clear expectations
