Hospice House Clinical Manager

Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate evening and night clinical operations at the hospice house
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing and interdisciplinary team members
Screen and oversee patient admissions to ensure appropriate level of care
Collaborate on staffing plans, scheduling, orientation, and professional development
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and accrediting body requirements
Monitor and support quality metrics, patient/family satisfaction, and clinical outcomes
Serve as a liaison between medical staff, hospice team members, and organizational leadership
Support budgetary planning and operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
A Registered Nurse, licensed in Massachusetts
At least 3 years of management experience in hospice, palliative, acute, or long-term care
Passionate about hospice philosophy and deeply familiar with symptom management and end-of-life care
Experienced in regulatory compliance, including DPH, CMS, JCAHO, or CHAP
A mentor and coach who fosters staff development, collaboration, and communication
A compassionate communicator with strong decision-making and organizational skills
A licensed driver with access to a reliable, insured vehicle
