Responsibilities
Partner with engineering and analytics to maintain and improve Burger King’s data warehouse, pipelines, and reporting platforms
Translate priorities from Marketing, Digital, Operations, and Finance into clear technical requirements for data models, tables, and reporting products
Write and review SQL queries to validate data, monitor KPIs, and support testing of new pipelines and integrations
Work closely with analytics, engineering, and product teams to ensure alignment on priorities and deliver data products that drive measurable business value
Contribute to the data platform roadmap, balancing foundational improvements with new features to maximize ROI
Drive adoption of “single source of truth” metrics and tools across Burger King teams; track and communicate business impact of improvements
Develop product management skills (roadmap planning, stakeholder management, agile practices) while applying your strong technical foundation
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience as a data engineer, data scientist, data analyst, or related role with strong exposure to data platforms
Proficiency in SQL and comfort working with large, complex datasets
Hands-on experience with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and data pipeline concepts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to translate data into business insights
Excellent communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Highly organized with strong project management skills and attention to detail
Curiosity, adaptability, and a desire to grow into product management — bringing both technical expertise and a customer-centric mindset
Preferred
Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster, dbt) or workflow automation platforms
Familiarity with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern data stack technologies
