Responsibilities
Lead complex HVAC installations, including advanced ductwork, units, and control systems, for modular homes
Conduct quality control checks to ensure systems meet design specifications, energy efficiency standards, and code requirements
Train and mentor Entry- and Mid-Level HVAC Installers, providing guidance on techniques, safety, and code compliance
Troubleshoot and resolve advanced HVAC issues, ensuring system reliability and efficiency
Ensure compliance with HVAC codes (e.g., IMC), safety standards, and industry regulations, including overseeing inspections
Read and interpret advanced blueprints and schematics to guide HVAC projects
Collaborate with production teams to align installations with project goals and schedules
Lead process improvements to enhance HVAC system efficiency, safety, and quality
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
7+ years of HVAC installation experience
At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
8,000 hours of documented practical experience per DORA requirements
Expert proficiency in installing, calibrating, and troubleshooting complex HVAC systems
Advanced knowledge of HVAC codes (e.g., IMC), safety regulations, and industry standards
Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics
Exceptional leadership and mentoring abilities
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
EPA Section 608 certification
HVAC Master license or equivalent required
Preferred
Advanced training or degree in HVAC or related fields
Experience in manufacturing or construction
OSHA safety training or additional certifications (e.g., NATE)
