Responsibilities

Provide regular and timely in-depth sales performance updates to field leadership on Beauty & Personal Care business metrics for Beauty Service program stores
Drives superior divisional/region/district selling strategies that lead to revenue growth to sales budget targets for B&PC categories
Champion and manage B&PC strategic initiatives in the field
Provide Beauty Service team sales management with analysis and reporting as required
Identify stores with business opportunities and create strategies to course correct opportunity doors to aid in budget achievement
Assess key tactics driving sale growth to maximize best practices in all stores
Create specific strategies to ensure Beauty Service vendor events and Merch beauty initiatives are consistently executed to drive sales growth and customer engagement
Manage consistent assessment of event results to implement strategies to maximize beneficial activities and mitigate ineffective actions
Assess the competitive beauty landscape within the Division and create opportunities to address business challenges
Champion innovation within the division and share best practices to impact the entire organization's performance
Field ambassador for Front Store Beauty Merch team with Divisional, Regional & District managers to ensure programs and initiatives are fully executed by the entire store teams and to help lead cultural change in driving Beauty sales focus and support with Field Leaders and Store Management
Cultivate an environment of continuous learning: Ensure consistent sales training and product knowledge curriculums are created and deployed to CVS Beauty Service teams
Create a Beauty Coordinator team of beauty experts and customer advocates that champion CVS beauty and ensure all CVS Beauty Service initiatives and programs are consistently executed within your area
Create and monitor development goals and coaching priorities for all levels of the Beauty Service team. Ensure all required training and certification programs that impact the Beauty Service staff are completed in a timely manner
Ensure Beauty Service staffing optimization by monitoring recruitment process, managing turn-over rates, and identifying applicable Beauty Service talent
A minimum of 1 regional store tour with a Regional Director per month should be conducted with an assessment of visits provided to applicable teams
Conduct a minimum of 1 visit per month with each Beauty Coordinator in the assigned regions to provide coaching and support on beauty business and confirm alignment with Beauty Service programs

Required

5-10 years in a leadership/supervisory position in a multi-door, service-driven environment
2-5 years management experience, educating, coaching, and developing sales teams
Strong passion for beauty
Strong leadership profile and excellent negotiation skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Goal-driven, with the ability to multi-task
Strong strategy creation and execution skills
Ability to train, coach, and develop a team of highly successful associates
Enthusiastic, friendly, positive energy
Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
Ability to anticipate and solve problems, act decisively, and persist in the face of obstacles
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to empower and develop team, collaborate and function as a team member, and ability to execute plans and strategies

Microsoft Office Suite experience
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store/company needs, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred

Beauty industry experience preferred
Experience managing teams in multi-door format preferred
Current knowledge of trends in the beauty and personal care industry
