Control Systems Engineer II
Dynalectric Company San Diego is hiring a Control Systems Engineer II responsible for implementing PC and PLC based control systems. The role involves interacting with project managers and engineers, ensuring project quality, and providing technical support and training.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including periodic updates
Peer-review the design work of colleagues to ensure that project quality objectives are satisfied
Direct the development of project related drawing and documentation packages such as wiring diagrams, bill of materials (BOMs), interconnect diagrams, manuals, test protocols and specs
Specify system components including controllers, I/O, motor starts, variable frequency drives, control valves, servers, touchscreen monitors and network equipment
Direct the design of Ethernet and device level LANs
Configure, program, test, and troubleshoot process instruments and VFDs
Configure, program, test, and troubleshoot graphical user interfaces
Develop functional specifications and test protocols including FAT, SAT and SIT
Provide engineering support for the foremen responsible for system installation and commissioning
Provide technical support and training to less senior colleagues

Demonstrate expertise in three of the performance domains: Control Panel Design, Control System Design, Instrumentation and Final Control Elements, Codes and Standards, Control System Software Development
Preferred
4-6 years' related experience
An undergraduate technical degree (e.g. ChE, ME, EE) for an accredited institution
