Multimedia Content Producer
The University of New Mexico is seeking a Multimedia Content Producer to create compelling visual content that showcases their mission of improving health and advancing discovery. The role involves producing photography and video that tell authentic stories of patient care, research, education, and community impact, while collaborating closely with communications staff and leadership.

Responsibilities
Capture high-quality photography and video for use across news media, digital, print, and social platforms, including portraits, events, clinical environments, facilities, and research settings
Edit and produce video content using the Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, and related tools to create finished pieces that align with institutional brand and messaging standards
Collaborate with communications staff, clinicians, and leadership to plan and execute shoots that support strategic storytelling goals
Maintain visual brand consistency across all assets, ensuring that photos and videos accurately represent the institution’s values, missions, and professionalism
Ensure all photography and video comply with HIPAA, consent, and privacy regulations, particularly when featuring patients or clinical activity
Support live event coverage, livestreams, and other special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED; at least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis
Applicants who do not submit a demo reel and a cover letter will not be considered
Preferred
At least 5 years of videographer/photographer/editor experience
Deep knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and After Effects
Ability to create motion graphics
Project management skills: ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Experience working in higher education
Experience working in a health care setting
