Responsibilities

Design, develop, and update technical training courses and materials, including:

Lesson plans

Presentations

Student guides

Hands-on exercises

Assessments

Deliver classroom and virtual instruction to Navy personnel

Ensure training aligns with Navy standards and adult learning principles

Collaborate with engineers, SMEs, and logisticians to ensure technical accuracy

Maintain training records and support course evaluations and revisions

U.S. Citizenship

Active Secret Clearance

Navy Basic Instructor Training (NEC 805A or 9502) or equivalent (e.g., CompTIA CTT+, Microsoft Certified Trainer)

5+ years hands-on experience with Navy shipboard networks such as CANES or TACNET

Experience in at least three of the following areas: Network Administration, System Administration, Technical Documentation, Technical Training

Preferred

Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) qualification (or ability to obtain within 9 months)

Familiarity with Navy Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Navy program requirements

Strong communication and instructional skills

Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning tools
