$14.25/hr - $14.25/hrTreasure Island Resort & Casino is seeking a Print Production Intern to assist in various branding and production tasks. The intern will support the Brand Communications team and help with the design and production of signage while gaining hands-on experience in the field.

Responsibilities
Assist in protecting the integrity of the Treasure Island and Prairie Island brands, keeping within the guidelines and standards policies
Assist in the design, development and production of casino signage and miscellaneous internal and external communications for Treasure Island and Prairie Island
Responsible for daily maintenance and support of large format printer and cutter
Perform day-to-day tasks to support the Brand Communications team with meeting business needs while satisfying internship requirements
Provide accurate and consistent support in assigned department
Work 3 – 5 special events, including parades, concerts, fairs and festivals to assist with property needs
Specific duties for each intern may vary and are intended to provide a well-rounded perspective to satisfy internship requirements
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
Current enrollment in 2 or 4-year post-secondary educational program pursuing a degree in graphic design, art/advertising or print production
Portfolio or examples of creative/design/print production projects
Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and Microsoft Office
Accurate and detail-oriented
Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Ability to work fast and efficiently
Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene
Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner
Ability to manage projects in a timely and efficient manner
Ability to independently complete multiple tasks in a professional manner
Ability to serve both internal and external customers
Treasure Island guest service training
Any position-related training as determined by division director
Must be able to sit for long periods of time with occasional amounts of walking and standing throughout the day
Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend, kneel and stoop
Must be able to reach and twist occasionally
Must have the ability to independently lift up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis
Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
Must have good hand-eye coordination
Work is performed primarily in an administration building but may be performed throughout the property (indoors and outdoors) including flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays
High volume direct public contact
