Asset Management Sr. Analyst

MercuryHub, a subsidiary of Concannon Business Consulting, is seeking an experienced Asset Management Senior Analyst to provide on-site support for a large automotive OEM in the Dallas, TX area. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain accounting records pertaining to fixed assets, ensuring compliance with GAAP and supporting various financial activities related to asset management.

Responsibilities

Support the organization's fixed asset accounting processes and procedures
Maintain and update the fixed asset register
Support various quarterly/annual asset confirmation activities
Record and monitor asset acquisitions, transfers, and disposals
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards
Perform regular asset valuations and depreciation calculations
Review and analyze fixed asset-related financial statements and reports
Prepare and present detailed fixed asset reports for management and stakeholders
Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to fixed assets
Collaborate with departments to plan and budget for capital expenditures
Coordinate with IT and administrative staff to ensure proper tagging and tracking of fixed assets
Handle internal and external audit requests pertaining to fixed assets
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to fixed asset management
Develop and implement process improvements for fixed asset management systems
Ensure timely and accurate recording of asset acquisition, capitalization, and depreciation
Administer and manage lease accounting and leased asset records
Maintain documentation and records related to fixed asset management policies and procedures

Required

5+ years minimum prior experience in a similar field/role (e.g. Accounting)
BS/BA Degree in related field (e.g. Accounting/Finance)
Experience with SAP ERP system experience
Experience with fixed assets
Strong Analytical skills with attention to detail and completeness
Motivated and dependable self-starter
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Solid time management skills, ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and function independently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to support on-site
Fluency in English; must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future

Preferred

Understanding of the automotive industry
CPA
