They are seeking a Lead AI Engineer who will be responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing AI and Machine Learning solutions, while mentoring technical talent and driving the technical direction of AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

Senior technical expert responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions that deliver measurable business impact across Blattner’s portfolio of projects

Actively supports the occupational development of HSE team by managing the SMART goal and performance management processes

Serves as both architect and builder, setting technical standards for AI/ML development, MLOps, and integration with enterprise IT systems and partners closely with business leaders, IT, and data stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions from concept through adoption

Drives the technical direction of AI initiatives spanning generative AI, predictive analytics, and optimization use cases

Mentors technical talent, establishes best practices, and ensures AI systems advance operational efficiency, forecast accuracy, and risk reduction

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field

8 or more years of applicable professional experience in Machine Learning, AI Engineering, or related fields

Preferred

Hands-on expertise in developing, deploying, and scaling AI/ML models in production environments (e.g., preference for Azure AI ecosystem)

Proven ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
