Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes and build sequences based on a strong understanding of materials and fabrication techniques
Evaluate equipment and tool performance to verify efficiency, reliability, and alignment with production requirements
Identify and resolve issues related to tooling, process capability, and production inefficiencies through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
Collaborate with design engineering teams to provide feedback on design concepts and specifications, ensuring manufacturability and optimal use of available equipment and methods
Operate within a Model-Based Engineering environment using platforms such as 3DX (3DEXPERIENCE) and iBASEt Solumina to develop digital work instructions and manage process documentation
Support cross-functional initiatives to improve cycle time, cost, quality, and safety across manufacturing operations
Provide periodic off-shift support as needed to sustain production and ensure continuity of operations
Travel periodically to other sites or vendors for technical support and integration activities

Required

STEM Bachelor's Degree
Hands‑on manufacturing experience
Hardware fabrication or assembly or integration / installation
Reviewing engineering technical drawings / definition
Secret clearance. Ability to obtain special program access within 2 months of submission

Preferred

Experience with sub-system assembly and integration into first article complete air vehicles
Background in aerospace hardware development, integration, and manufacturing environments
Authoring manufacturing assembly work instructions and planning work
Aerospace, aircraft or rocket‑hardware
Aircraft fuel, hydraulic, propulsion, wire harness, and related systems
Development/ prototype/ first article program support
CNC machining working knowledge
3DX / Catia V5, Delmia software usage, PLM and ERP software proficiency
GPA of 3.0+ and 2+ years of experience
