Digital Content Specialist

Seneca Gaming Corporation is seeking a Digital Content Specialist to assist in assembling and deploying content across its public-facing websites. The role involves ensuring accurate scheduling of content, researching web trends, and maintaining an evolving SEO strategy to enhance guest retention and attract new guests.

Responsibilities

Work with Traffic and Creative teams to gather required-content resources for posting
Increase guest retention, and attract new guests as well as enhance and upsell/cross-sell opportunities
Identify and report on which content is met with increased or lowered engagement across all Seneca Gaming Corporation brands
Work with Digital Content Manager to ensure that deadlines are met and that all websites are updated with relevant and current information
Adhere to Purchasing, HR, and TERO compliance requirements
Promote positive public relations
Track offer results and provide the information to management, including program /promotion evaluation
Provide support and input into all marketing and operational projects related to digital marketing
Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicate in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times. Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff
Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies
Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment
Attend all necessary meetings
Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule

Required

Must be 21 years of age or older upon employment
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising or relevant degree is required
On-the-job experience in website content management required
Experience in deploying complicated content deployment
Must have advanced experience and working knowledge of HTML
Must have experience and working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver
Must be proficient with web and app platforms
Proficiency with Microsoft Office with strong emphasis on Word and Excel is required
Must be able to communicate strategies effectively, both in writing and verbally
Must be highly creative, outgoing team player, and able to work well at a high pace under tight deadlines
Must have a proven ability to work effectively with little guidance in a single or team environment
Will be required to work some evenings and weekends so scheduling flexibility and dependability required
Must possess excellent communications skills
Must have the ability to write and speak effectively to the public, employees and customers
Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees
Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner within the specified guidelines of the Interactive Marketing position
Must be able to stand, walk and move through all areas of the Casino for extended periods
Must have excellent hearing abilities
Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees and members of the business community in all situations
Must be able to sit and operate a computer for an extended period of time
