Customer Success Manager

Your First Scholarship is a fast-growing organization dedicated to helping families earn college football scholarships. As a Customer Success Manager, you will manage client onboarding and communication, oversee campaigns, and track results for up to 250 families, ensuring their success in the recruiting process.

Responsibilities

Manage onboarding for all new clients to ensure setup is completed within 7 days
Maintain response times under 2 hours during business hours
Provide ongoing strategic support to families throughout their recruiting journey
Conduct weekly check-ins and monitor client progress
Manage red-flag clients and escalate issues appropriately
Maintain organized systems, trackers, and notes at all times
Run and optimize email + DM campaigns
Maintain a minimum of 0.5 responses per active campaign
Analyze metrics, test messaging, and improve performance continuously
Attend weekly 1-on-1 and team calls prepared with numbers, wins, and projections
Submit daily End-of-Day report in Slack
Update personal tracking sheets daily
Maintain clear communication with the Director of Customer Success & CEO
Collect 8+ high-quality testimonials each month
Drive 1–2 closed referrals monthly
Support client success to generate high NPS scores

Qualification

Required

Played or coached college football (required) — deep understanding of recruiting
Strong communication skills across Slack, Zoom, phone, and written channels
Extremely organized with elite attention to detail
Ability to work independently, proactively, and manage large client loads
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-ownership role
Ability to manage email/DM recruiting campaigns, analyze data, and improve results
Consistent, disciplined, and routine-driven
Hungry to grow — personally and professionally
High integrity and extreme ownership mindset

Preferred

Sales ability is a plus (written, verbal, and visual communication skills)
