Macquarie Group is a global financial services group operating in 31 markets, seeking a Vice President/Senior Vice President for their Co-Investment team. The role involves managing co-investment activities, designing equity strategies, negotiating commercial terms, and fostering relationships with institutional investors.

Responsibilities

Designing equity strategies for our consortium-led buyouts and for our post-acquisition syndications

Raising equity and allocating co-investment opportunities

Establishing and negotiating commercial terms

Managing ongoing relationships with co-investors

Supporting transaction teams and the investment committees with co-investment strategic advice and execution support

Creating, negotiating and overseeing bespoke strategic partnership agreements with some of the world’s largest institutional investors

Required

Strong technical investment and analytical experience and commercial / negotiation skills

Excellent communication and relationship management abilities, balancing competing objectives

Proven capability in negotiating and agreeing commercial terms with investment partners

Preferred

Ideally, experience in managing co-investment transactions or leading capital formation work streams

Ideally, investment experience either in asset management or investment banking
