They are seeking an Inspector 1 for their Lake Orion facility, responsible for inspecting customer products, ensuring quality, and participating in continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities
Receive and inspect customer product for processing
Inspect the finished product
Participate in continuous improvement activities
Learn new skills and cross-train into various departments
Act as a member of the monthly ‘Quality Council’
Visual inspection of tools for proper coating
Learn defixturing techniques
Post quantities being shipped into the computer system
Pack customer parts for shipping
Use XRF equipment to document coating thickness
Use various shipping software
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribes safety regulations
Must conform to current health, environmental, and safety standards
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management
Qualification
Required
High School graduate or GED or equivalent experience
Commits to corporate core values, goals, mission and vision
Must be proficient in ordering supplies via the internet
Experience with MS Office
Individual must have strong work ethic, be high-energy, and detail oriented
Must be able to lift 30lbs
Good verbal and written communication skills
A positive attitude and willingness to work overtime when required
Preferred
Knowledge of industrial cutting tools (e.g. drills, etc.) preferred but not required
