Responsibilities

Prepare individual and business income tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, etc.)
Review client documentation for completeness and accuracy
Communicate effectively with clients to request required information and provide general guidance
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Maintain client confidentiality and uphold professional standards
Perform all work in compliance with the Firm's policies and procedures
Perform tax-related technical research assigned by supervisors
Takes responsibility for service quality, thoroughness and accuracy

Qualification

Tax preparation experiencePreparer Tax Identification NumberTax law knowledgeTax preparation softwareMicrosoft Office SuiteAnalytical skillsClient managementAttention to detailProblem-solving skills

Required

Minimum 2-4 seasons of tax preparation experience, preferably in a CPA or public accounting firm
Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
Strong knowledge of tax law, regulations and procedures
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in preparing tax returns
Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines during tax season
Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work 20 hours per week
Proficiency with tax preparation software, CCH Axcess preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
