In-House E-Commerce Graphic Designer
Outova is a premier distributor of outdoor living products, seeking a skilled In-House E-Commerce Graphic Designer to enhance their portfolio of brands. The role focuses on creating conversion-optimized digital experiences across e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify, while maintaining brand consistency and leveraging AI tools for content creation.
Retail
Responsibilities
Own the design and optimization of product pages, collections, and landing pages on Shopify
Implement AI-assisted content creation tools for copy, image enhancement, and SEO optimization
Ensure designs are conversion-optimized, visually cohesive, and aligned with brand voice
Maintain product metafields, templates, variants, and collection logic across multiple brands
Continuously improve UX/UI, mobile responsiveness, site speed, and accessibility
Design digital assets for email campaigns, social media, retargeting ads, banners, and promotions
Collaborate with marketing teams to create high-performing campaign visuals
Assist with AI-generated content audits, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, SEO, and alt-text quality
Create graphics and overlays for video content, tutorials, and product showcases
Assist with basic video editing or motion graphics for digital channels
Ensure visual consistency across all media assets
Produce print-ready assets: brochures, catalogs, manuals, inserts, and packaging for multiple brands
Coordinate with vendors to ensure print production quality and accurate color matching
Manage design requests across multiple brands simultaneously
Maintain a centralized asset library and templates for internal teams
Collaborate with product development, marketing, and operations teams to meet deadlines and quality standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–7+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in e-commerce or retail
Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects optional)
Strong experience with Shopify 2.0, product page design, collections, templates, and UX/UI
Familiarity with AI design/content tools for efficiency and optimization
Strong typography, color theory, layout, and visual storytelling skills
Experience managing multiple brands or e-commerce websites is highly desirable
Preferred
Motion graphics, video editing, or animation experience
Experience with e-commerce photography, lifestyle imagery, and product styling
Knowledge of SEO, conversion rate optimization, and digital marketing best practices
Familiarity with multi-brand design workflows and asset management systems
