Assistant Research Professor of Pediatrics
Indiana University is seeking an Assistant Research Professor of Pediatrics at the Herman B Wells Center for Pediatric Research. Design, conduct, and analyze experiments related to gene editing in hematopoietic cells and animal models
Perform animal studies, including handling, treatment, and tissue collection
Collaborate with other researchers to advance the project’s scientific goals
Maintain accurate experimental records and prepare data for presentations, publications, and grant reports
Contribute to a productive and collegial laboratory environment
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Hematology, or a related biomedical field
Demonstrated hands-on experience with animal models
Expertise in gene editing technologies (e.g., CRISPR/Cas9) and hematopoietic systems
Strong work ethic, high level of motivation, and commitment to scientific excellence
Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
