Responsibilities
Research record documents and produce a deed sketch
Data reduction of survey field work
Preparation of survey plats and subdivision plats
Preparation of metes and bounds descriptions
Assisting the RPLS with the Boundary Analysis and Boundary Resolution
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience as a Survey Technician (Surveyor in Training (SIT) will also be considered)
Experience with Records Research, required
Experience with preparing Deed Sketches, required
Experience in producing survey maps and plats, required
Experience with Civil 3D, required
Understanding of Computer Technology (tablets, iPads, etc.) required
Must have a valid Texas Driver's License
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods of time
Ability and willingness to follow instructions that may be written, delivered verbally, or conveyed from various methods of communication
Must be flexible, dependable, responsible and disciplined to be a positive representative for Halff and remain punctual on a consistent basis
Overtime and weekend work may be needed to meet project deadlines
Ability to complete physical labor for up to 12 hours per day
Ability to pass a drug and background screen
Preferred
Experience with preparing metes and bounds descriptions, preferred
Experience with Trimble software, preferred
