SHIP SCHEDULER (GENERAL)

Responsibilities

You will analyze briefs, memorandums, technical work documents (TWDs), task group instructions (TGIs), estimate sheets, plans and specifications, material status reports, reports and progress reports
You will conduct feasibility studies on new work and prepare detailed schedules necessary to determine time requirements and material/software delivery dates
You will participate in scoping conferences
You will assist in reviewing scheduling adherence on completed availabilities and in making recommendations to correct causes of departures from schedules in the future
You will review general work requirements and convert them to more specific tasks

Required

Must be a US Citizen
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program

Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
This is a Mission Essential position
This position requires work in small and/or confined spaces
This position requires work onboard ships
This position requires the ability to crawl, bend, stoop, crouch, and climb
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements
