The role involves managing news coverage logistics, preparing and publishing multimedia content across various platforms, and generating story ideas while collaborating with the news team.

Responsibilities

Manage the logistics of news coverage
Prepare and publish multi-media content on our digital platforms including web, social, and app
Generate hard news enterprise story ideas and plan for future coverage
Organize incoming news content (news wires, police radios, news releases, news tips, story ideas from inside the station)
Communicate with contacts to gather facts and schedule interviews
Work cooperatively with the news team
Complete other duties as assigned
