Responsibilities
Lead and manage audit engagements for government clients to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards
Develop and implement audit plans and strategies tailored to government entities
Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process
Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement in financial management and reporting
Prepare and present audit reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement
Collaborate with government officials and management to discuss audit results and facilitate understanding of compliance requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
Strong knowledge of government auditing standards and regulations
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
