Assistant Director, In Home and Outpatient Therapy

Responsibilities
Oversee completion, quality, and timeliness of mandated documentation (e.g., CANS/Comprehensive Assessments, Treatment Plans, Safety Plans, Transition/Discharge Summaries) per managed care, state, and federal standards
Ensure adherence to HIPAA and all documentation/protection requirements
Uphold protocols for admission, transfer, and discharge to drive excellent care, client satisfaction, and safe operations
Facilitate weekly case consultations; escalate emergency/crisis cases to appropriate medical personnel as required
Ensure required staffing coverage and appropriate handling of emergency cases
Participate in EOHHS and payer fidelity monitoring activities
Maintain effective relationships with referral sources and relevant agencies
Design and deliver orientation and ongoing training for IHT/OP staff based on emerging trends
Proactively assess and mitigate risk; report issues promptly to reduce liability and maintain compliance with regulators/accreditors
Model and reinforce CSR core values (respect, dignity, compassion, humility, integrity, patience, excellence) in resolving consumer concerns
Partner with the IHT/OP Director and QA Director on policies, procedures, quality, and risk management; assist with grant research/writing to expand services
Participate in administrative, quality management, and clinical leadership committees
Ensure timely, orderly electronic records and data entry; maintain supervisory notes for MCE/QAD site reviews
Lead internal team meetings; participate in cross-functional meetings as needed
Monitor productivity; generate timely, accurate reports
Support case assignment, waitlist management, and referral benchmarks (e.g., timely family contact)
Meet weekly with the IHT/OP Program Director for supervision
Foster a respectful, collaborative team culture
Provide culturally sensitive, trauma-informed services that recognize each youth/family’s values, goals, and identities (economic status, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, race, language)
Contribute to agency goals and perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Current licensure required: LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LADC
3–5 years of supervisory experience with the target population
Experience navigating child/family-serving systems and advocating for families involved in behavioral health systems
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
