Responsibilities

Identify, qualify, and select suppliers based on capability, capacity, quality, service, and cost

Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers

Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure consistent performance

Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with company objectives

Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and sourcing efficiencies

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including supplier consolidation and standardization of materials/services

Partner with engineering, operations, quality, and finance to align sourcing strategies with business needs

Support new product development by sourcing materials and suppliers to meet project timelines

Collaborate with legal on supplier contracts, agreements, and compliance requirements

Monitor supplier performance, quality, and delivery metrics; implement corrective actions as needed

Mitigate risks in the supply chain by diversifying suppliers and monitoring market trends

Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical sourcing standards

Conduct market research to stay current with industry trends, pricing shifts, and emerging suppliers

Benchmark suppliers and evaluate alternatives to maintain competitive advantage
