Responsibilities
Contribute to and oversee civil/site design for a wide variety of projects, including parks, municipal infrastructure, athletic facilities, schools, higher education campuses, and industrial/commercial developments
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to support municipal stormwater management, roadway improvements, and drainage system upgrades
Conduct utility coordination and support the preparation of construction documents for W/WW infrastructure
Assist with assigned municipal project tasks to ensure successful delivery within established scope, schedule, and budget requirements
Work both independently and as part of a municipal project team, using sound judgment and technical expertise with limited supervision
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience
Proficient in AutoCAD® Civil 3d computer aided design software
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of software including, but not limited to Word Excel, PowerPoint, etc
Ability to solve problems
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to multitask, appropriately prioritize workflow and complete tasks on schedule and within budget
Excellent time management skills
Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
Engineering-in-Training (EIT) required, working toward PE Licensure
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
