MGP Ingredients is a leading supplier of premium distilled spirits and food ingredient solutions. They are seeking an Ingredients Logistics & Planning Analyst to coordinate among departments to ensure effective ingredient operations and manage logistics for customer demand fulfillment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the management of the ingredient division S&OP processes using scheduling tools, while considering plant capacities, raw material availability, sales demand, and inventory levels

Work throughout organization to maintain and audit data integrity, valid reorder points, process orders, purchase orders, plant capacities and product demand

Align production teams, sales teams, customer care teams and procurement teams with S&OP plans and execution requirements

Provide predictable production capacity forecasts back to Sales and Finance to facilitate revenue and profit modeling

Work with third party tolling manufactures and warehouses to communicate volume and timing of production

Manage outsourced transportation providers for Ingredients Division. Ensuring proper service levels to both external and internal customers

Work closely with Supply Chain Director on reporting and analytical tasks to ensure all facets of MGP’s logistical functions are meeting expectations and a continuous improvement focus is maintained
