Responsibilities
Support feasibility and planning stages of energy and infrastructure projects
Prepare and review Phase 1 desk studies and contaminated land reports
Collect, review, and interpret ground investigation and laboratory data
Contribute to scoping reports, Preliminary Environmental Information Reports (PEIR) and Environmental Statements (ES)
Write clear, concise, and technically robust reports tailored to client needs
Collaborate across disciplines and attend site visits or consultation events as required
Qualification
Required
A degree in geology, hydrogeology, chemistry, environmental science, or a related subject
Experience in environmental/engineering consultancy or ground investigation contracting
Experience in contributing to/delivering EIAs
Strong technical writing and communication skills
Knowledge of hydrogeology and contaminated land assessment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A full UK driving licence
Motivation to work toward chartership with a relevant professional body
Preferred
Experience preparing PEIRs, ESs, and technical documents for DCO applications
