Lead GDMS efforts to ensure designs survive and perform in their mission environments

Contribute to the technical success of the project as a member of the Radiation Effects Engineering team

Qualification

Required

Requires a Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field

Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required

Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Preferred

Agile experience preferred

space or nuclear radiation environments and modelling, radiation transport analysis, and/or radiation effects testing

Clear understanding of natural and nuclear radiation environments and how to model them

Proficient in radiation effects in semiconductor components, electronic circuits, and systems

Creative thinker with ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
