Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and execute new business opportunities via partnership, M&A, or other means
Establish and maintain relationships with bankers and others in our space to increase Base’s visibility into relevant market developments
Research and engage with peers in our space and adjacent spaces to build our 'house view' on potential partners, M&A targets, and opportunities for Base to build
Collaborate with Base CEO and leadership team on capital allocation decisions
Qualification
Required
Experience in investment banking, investing, consulting, corporate venture, or related roles that give you an expert knowledge of corporate strategy fundamentals
Detailed understanding of energy infrastructure markets, or an ability to quickly build that network and understanding
Valuation modeling skills and experience to evaluate new business opportunities
Effective verbal and written communication skills
