Responsibilities
Support the Director of Finance in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and income audit
Prepare, review, and reconcile monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with both internal policies and external regulations
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and management reports, providing insightful variance analysis and recommendations
Ensure all financial transactions are documented, recorded, and reported in accordance with Four Seasons policies and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Supervise, train, and mentor accounting team members, fostering an environment of learning, integrity, and collaboration
Liaise with internal and external auditors to support audit processes and implement recommended improvements
Monitor cash flow, banking activities, and credit management in coordination with the Director of Finance
Contribute to the optimization of financial processes through technology and innovative best practices
Assist other departments with financial queries, cost control, and inventory management
Uphold the highest level of confidentiality and ethical standards in all financial dealings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a luxury hotel or resort environment
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, hospitality financial operations, and relevant software (e.g., Oracle, Sun, Opera PMS)
Proven ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy under pressure
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Effective communication in English (verbal and written)
High integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality
Flexible to work varied hours, including weekends or holidays as required
Preferred
professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA)
Arabic Speaker, Local preferred
proficiency in Arabic is an advantage
