Supply Chain Procurement Buyer

Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong, strategic partnerships with suppliers to ensure consistent and reliable delivery of materials or services
Perform sourcing, purchasing, and negotiation activities to secure cost-effective, high-quality materials or services that meet operational requirements
Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality, delivery, and cost expectations
Implement procurement strategies that align with company goals to reduce costs, mitigate risks, and enhance supply chain resilience
Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to ensure procurement activities align with business needs and production schedules
Resolve supplier-related issues, including delays, quality concerns, or deviations, by analyzing data and implementing corrective actions
Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities and supplier engagements
Participate in improvement projects to streamline procurement processes and enhance efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, Construction or a related field
Foundational understanding of supply chain principles, procurement processes, and supplier management
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
Business acumen and logical thinking skills to develop and implement procurement strategies
Proven written and verbal communication skills, with strong ability in collaboration, negotiation, and influencing stakeholders
Proactively resolve issues using data-driven analysis and solutions
Ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring timely and quality completion
Focus on accuracy when reviewing contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance metrics
