Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional service across tastings, pairings, and table service
Educate guests on San Simeon Estates’ wines, vineyards, and winemaking philosophy
Drive DTC sales through knowledgeable recommendations and club signups
Cross-train in restaurant-style service for a la carte offerings
Maintain detailed knowledge of current wines and pairings
Ensure tasting spaces reflect brand standards and cleanliness
Uphold ABC compliance and responsible service standards
Assist with private tastings, trade visits, and member events
Qualification
Required
Must be 21+
Weekend and holiday availability required
Warm, confident communicator with strong sales instincts
Ability to translate technical wine knowledge into engaging stories
Team-oriented and flexible under pressure
Passionate about hospitality, food, and wine education
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to stand for extended periods
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
