Whiddon College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama is transforming medicine along the Gulf Coast to meet the unique needs of the community. They are seeking a BC/BE candidate for a faculty position in Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics, focusing on patient care and teaching within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
Duties include patient care as part of the primary referral center for the region, as well as teaching medical students, residents, and trainees in other health professions
The successful candidate will interact with an interdisciplinary team of pediatricians, psychologists, nurses, and developmental therapists dealing with a range of behavioral and developmental disorders
In addition to interprofessional programs in follow-up of high-risk infants and an Autism Diagnostic Clinic, our Division houses one of five statefunded university-based Regional Autism Networks in Alabama
Opportunities exist to develop additional areas of clinical, academic, and scholarly interest within our system
Qualification
Required
BC/BE in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics or currently in fellowship
