Responsibilities
Serve as part of the on-call L1 Support rotation, acting as the first line of defense for production outages, incidents, and critical system issues
Monitor system alerts and logs, perform initial triage, and escalate to the appropriate technical teams when necessary
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure timely resolution of production incidents
Document incident details, root causes, and corrective actions to support continuous improvement and system stability
During non-on-call hours, continue to work on software development, enhancements, testing, and automation initiatives
Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs new and existing software applications for customers
Analyze code to determine causes of errors and revise programs as needed
Participates in the full development life cycle, including requirements analysis and design. Learns to author technical specifications based upon conceptual design and stated business requirements
Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices, tools, and standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
Must know JavaScript and SQL Server (or similar databases)
Strong understanding of abstract data relationships
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred
Familiarity with C# .NET and OOPS concepts preferred
Eager to learn new technologies
