Design Engineer (relocation assistance offered)
Module X Solutions LLC is a rapidly growing modular manufacturing business serving corporate and government customers in various sectors. The Design Engineer position involves developing product specifications and designs while collaborating with customers and team members to deliver tailored products.

Responsibilities
Read, interpret, and understand architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical drawings and specifications
Develop product drawings that meet all applicable design codes and customer specifications
Collaborate with the different disciplines within the Engineering department
Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using 2D & 3D CAD software (Autodesk AutoCAD & Inventor)
Perform engineering calculations to support design work
Complete projects based on priorities set by the Engineering Director
Work alongside project managers on the shop floor to successfully monitor progress and implementation of engineering projects
Responsible for working according to the company’s safety and quality standards
Perform other related duties as required and or as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must have 2-5 years of experience working in an engineering environment
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or in a related field
Firm grasp of engineering concepts and experience designing mechanical systems and products
Excellent math skills: ability to apply advanced mathematical principles and statistics to solve problems
Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Familiar with industry building codes
Understands engineering design principles to guide designers and drafters
Must be detail oriented and familiar with interpreting drawings and shop details
Must have a good attendance record and have a strong sense of personal responsibility
Self-motivated and works well with or without supervision
Good organizational skills and a methodical approach to work
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred
Familiarity with State Building Codes is desired
Professional license is desired or willing to pursue license as required to support project requirements
