Responsibilities

Provides laboratory services to meet the needs of patients performed in compliance with all applicable regulation, standards and practices

Directs, supervises and coordinates functions and activities in any or all areas assigned and in which a professional license is held

Plans, organizes and supervises the activities of all employees in areas of supervision to assure the prompt efficient, accurate and cost effective delivery of clinical laboratory information, test results, and services

Ensures the delivery of quality laboratory services which meets the standards of practice, established policies and procedures, and applicable laws and regulations at West Boca Medical Center

Assists in the administration of the laboratory department

Coordinates a wide variety of administrative, fiscal and technical activities to ensure efficient operation of all clinical laboratories

Adheres to the legal responsibilities and scope of practice as written by the Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel, State of Florida
