Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with federal safety regulations and standards in conjunction with our commercial drone delivery program
Investigate noncompliance concerns and recommend preventive measures
Oversee compliance monitoring systems and conduct comprehensive risk assessments
Establish and maintain governance frameworks that align with aviation authorities' requirements across operating regions
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure all Prime Air aircraft, components, and operational procedures meet or exceed regulatory standards
Lead and advise across multiple disciplines to maintain compliance documentation and develop training programs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
10+ years of risk management, audit, legal, compliance, operations, or a similar discipline experience
Experience with cross functional project or program delivery
Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
5+ years of advising and influencing executive leadership experience
Deep expertise in compliance, including thorough knowledge of aviation regulations, drone operational requirements, and certification processes
Preferred
Master's degree or equivalent
Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
Experience with regulatory submissions to aviation authorities
Proven track record of implementing successful compliance programs in complex technical environments
Experience navigating ambiguous regulatory landscapes
Experience with unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) regulations and certification processes
Strong background in audit processes and risk management methodologies
