EG4 Electronics is seeking a highly skilled Battery Test Engineer to join their team. The role involves ensuring that batteries meet technical and legal specifications for safety and design, planning and executing testing methods, analyzing test data, and proposing corrective actions for improvement.

Responsibilities

Design, prepare, monitor, and execute comprehensive test programs for batteries on the test bench

Analyze data sets and identify trends to assess battery performance and areas for improvement

Utilize test equipment to monitor and record relevant parameters, such as voltage, current, and temperature during testing

Investigate the root cause of failures, identify design or manufacturing flaws, and propose corrective actions to enhance battery performance and reliability

Develop test programs for battery systems based on standard regulation norms or technical standards

Continuously monitor ongoing projects, evaluate data, and adjust methods and equipment as necessary

Identify opportunities to optimize test parameters, explore new testing techniques, and utilize advanced equipment to improve testing efficiency and accuracy

Create and maintain accurate and detailed documentation, including test procedures, test setups, and test results

Communicate test findings and reports to relevant stakeholders, including manufacturers and, when necessary, customers

Present data to customers and maintain effective communication channels with them

Required

Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field

Proven experience in a similar position is advantageous

Proficient in written and spoken English

Experienced in using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint)

Excellent problem-solving skills

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Hands-on experience with cell test/data monitoring and battery module/pack test/data monitoring

Ability to develop test plans and write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Highly motivated, flexible, and proactive with a strong commitment to quality

Willingness to travel abroad to support testing initiatives
