Ashley Furniture is seeking a skilled Licensed Facility Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems throughout our facilities. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient operations and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures throughout the facility

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems using appropriate testing devices

Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment

Respond to emergency electrical issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions

Ensure all electrical work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes

Maintain safe working conditions and follow OSHA safety standards

Conduct regular safety inspections of electrical systems

Maintain accurate documentation of all electrical work performed

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams

Install and maintain lighting systems, motors, transformers, and control systems

Work with 480V three-phase power systems and motor controls

Coordinate with maintenance team and contractors on electrical projects

Qualification

Valid electrical licenseIndustrial/commercial experienceNECRead electrical schematics480V systemsPLCsOSHA safety certificationExperience in manufacturingEnergy management

Required

Valid electrical license (Journeyman or Master Electrician)

Minimum 3-5 years of industrial/commercial electrical experience

Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints

Experience with 480V three-phase systems

Preferred

Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments

Knowledge of PLCs and industrial automation systems

OSHA safety certification

Experience with energy management systems
