Responsibilities
Provides administrative or operational support on various projects and activities
Provides and projects a positive customer-focused professional image in all interactions
Performs other official duties and special projects assigned
Leverage knowledge of Congressional member office operations to navigate workflows, coordinate meetings, and support office processes
Performs other official duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Interest and curiosity in government and the human resources field required
Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate educational program preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
Must be able to work with all levels of a multifaceted workforce as well as with sensitive, confidential, and complex projects/ responsibilities
Ability to multi-task and work well both independently and on a team required
Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to establish effective working relationships with senior staff and other high-ranking officials
The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented team player possessing an interest in public service
Preferred
Previous experience in a member's office
Experience working in a professional office setting
Experience managing social media profiles for a company or organization
Experience supporting large scale events
