Responsibilities

Bring energy and enthusiasm to looking beyond the surface to break news and tell impactful stories
Produce daily and longer-term enterprise content — including features as well as data-driven investigative pieces — for use across multiple platforms with a digital-first mindset
Create photos, videos, social media posts as essential elements of multi-dimensional storytelling
Work collaboratively and collegially with reporters, photographers, editors and producers

Required

Minimum of three years working as a daily news reporter
Strong, clear, accurate writing ability that demonstrates attention to detail and grammar
Strong news judgment
Ability to confront officials, handle difficult conversations and hold people accountable
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, history, political science or equivalent experience preferred
