Responsibilities
Troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment using multi-meter, hand tools, and computer software
Create documentation for equipment and/or training
Reading of schematics (electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic)
Document changes to schematics/update in Autocad
Repairing equipment on an as needed basis
Network systems communications through IP address
Lead improvement projects for equipment updates
Support maintenance PM program with technical knowledge
Repairing and maintaining MIG welding equipment
Use of knowledge and understanding of basic welding fundamentals
Shielding gas type and ratios
Circuit continuity confirmation
Calibration of voltage, wire feed rate, and gas flow
Understanding of weld fume health impact
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, electrical or manufacturing engineering and at least (5) years of relevant work experience or 13 years of relevant work experience
Troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment using multi-meter, hand tools, and computer software
Create documentation for equipment and/or training
Reading of schematics (electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic)
Document changes to schematics/update in Autocad
Repairing equipment on an as needed basis
Network systems communications through IP address
Lead improvement projects for equipment updates
Support maintenance PM program with technical knowledge
Repairing and maintaining MIG welding equipment
Use of knowledge and understanding of basic welding fundamentals

Calibration of voltage, wire feed rate, and gas flow
Understanding of weld fume health impact
Understanding of safety procedures
Understanding of complex PLC instructions and function block usage, able to troubleshoot and make changes as needed
Working knowledge of Complex electrical controls and circuit analysis
Working knowledge of safety controls including light curtains and safety scanners
Able to connect and troubleshoot safety PLC/devices and repair/replace as needed
Working knowledge of variable frequency drives
Basic knowledge of robotic applications with PLC integrations
Preferred
Experience with Omron, CJ/NJ PLC's preferred
Motoman robotics experience preferred
